Kristianstad University [HKR] is an international, progressive and open-minded university situated in southern Sweden. It offers top quality education, which attracts a lot of international students. Established in 1977, HKR is one of the newest Swedish institutions of higher education, yet its graduate programme in business administration is ranked among the top 3 in the country by the Swedish Council of Higher Education since 2012 and has been ranked 1st in 2012 and 2017.
HKR runs its academic programs through 4 different faculties, viz. Faculty of Health Science with 4 Departments, Faculty of Natural Science, with 3 departments, Faculty of Education with 5 departments and Faculty of Business with 3 departments and offers courses in teaching, behavioural, social, natural and health sciences, business administration and engineering.
