UNIVERSITY OF DEBRECEN
The University of Debrecen is one of the largest institutions of higher education in Hungary today. There are more than 20000+ students studying in the university hailing from all corners of the globe. It is a cultural, economic and scientific centre of the region and a renowned university town.
It has the multidisciplinary background guaranteeing the University a leading role as a research and education institution, and the intellectual center of Eastern Hungary. In 2007 it was the first to receive the highest degree of the Higher Education Qualification Prize awarded to the most reputable Hungarian higher education institutions.
The programs are accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Board which is part of the European Accreditation Board. Its Medical programs are accredited by the World Health Organization (WHO), the State Education Department (NY, USA), Medical Board of California, Medical Councils of India (a qualifying exam is compulsory), Israel, Ireland, Iran, Norway and the United Arab Emirates
It has more than 70-degree programs which are fully taught in English.
