Strate School of Design founded in 1993 is a reputed school of design in Paris, very well-known for its International fame and recognition. It is an elite institution of higher education following the Grande Ecole pattern, and being a recognised name among France's most influential politicians, civil servants, and intellectuals. It is a recognized player in the ecosystem of higher education in Design.
Business Week has ranked Strate School among the top 60 Design establishments worldwide; and Domus has ranked it among the top 50 Universities in Europe.

With a humble beginning of 18 students twenty years ago, Strate school has grown to its current strength of 600 students. It has opened its new campus in Sevres very near to Paris, spread over 3000 square meters.
Strate School has developed a set of 5 curricula to meet the ever-increasing contemporary demands that focus on human dimension of their work. The University’s passion for churning dedicated professionals has held them in good stead in the international student community.
Strate school’s partnerships with several engineering universities, notably in Singapore, India and Africa, lays a strong foundation for the students allowing them to collaborate and network with them, enhancing their career prospects at an international level.
Strate School offers a Level 1 Industrial Designer diploma. In May 2017, Strate created a double diploma with Science - Po, one of the most prominent French Institute of Political Studies.
Strate offers different types of design programs, training designers (5-year program), modellers (3-year training) and innovative project managers (1-year) and other players in the design, research and innovation field.
Strate school is housed in a four-storeyed building organised in several spaces: classes, workshops, lectures, computer labs, daily activities, dining and chilling areas. It is equipped with a spacious lecture hall that can accommodate 200 students; it has 17 large and bright classrooms, 4 computer labs with Mac and PC, and 5 different workshops. Strate School’s Workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art machines which allows students to craft their models and prototypes and work with a wide range of materials. Over the years, Strate School has evolved into a ‘FabLab’, thanks to its procurement of several 3D printers and a laser cutter/ engraver.
Academics being what they are, best in the country, Strate school ensures that its students are provided with well-balanced meals with diversified products through its association with a local trader (Thomasse’s Bakery). Strate School’s campus overlooks the Isle Seguin and the parc de Brimborion, including its open-access sports facilities, presenting a unique opportunity to its students to engage in outdoor activities.
