Linnaeus University, the 6th largest university in Sweden in a small town called Smaland takes its name from Carl Linnaeus, a botanist of international acclaim known as the father of modern taxonomy who was born here. His dauntless approaches towards research and curious instincts have inspired many a scientist of the generation, and the not in the least the Linnaeus University. Though a small town, Smaland boasts of having given birth to the Founder of the Internationally known Ikea Company. With such credentials, it is no wonder that Linnaeus University has an overall strength of 31, 000 students and 1600 International students.
Linnaeus university is a 2 decades old university, which has partnered with more than 750 universities in the world, from across 60 countries. It has 3 campuses in Vaxjo, Kalmar and Ljungby. The University has some of the most modern facilities, enabling the students an unlimited potential to grow, which is further enhances by close interactions between the students and the teachers.
